Mummy Coffin Covers Siezed By Israeli Authorties No Accident.
April 5th, 2012For most it may not seem like anything strange for the two Egyptian Mummy Cofin Lids to show up in Israel just before Passover. For Jews it is a reminder of the bitter past when our people were in slaved by the Egyptians, it is a reminder that G-d is our deliverer and that it was HaShem that brought us out by a mighty hand. But it brings another thought to my mind – we are at the verge of our final redemption. As the world gathers against our people we should not fear for the prophets told us these things would happen. The coffin lids however are a reminder to us of the complaints that were made by some of our people when they chided against Moses and said “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die?”
Though we may face very dark days ahead my brethen do not be dismayed. The coffin lids are a reminder from HaShem that we should not do as those before us but let us be strong like Joshua and fight with all that is us – deliverance is at the door and we will not turn back.
