Questions surround the “Mark of the Beast”
There are so many misconceptions of what the mark of the beast really is. “…Will it be a microchip planted beneath the skin? Perhaps bar-coding or card given – like a social security card…” All of these along with numerous other ideas of men detract us from what really is coming. The Bible says in Revelations 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Keep this scripture closely in mind while we examine another passage from Revelation 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
In both groups the children of God – Revelation’s 9:4 – and those spoken of in Revelation 13:6 that have taken the mark of the beast are marked in some form. The scripture plainly says in Revelations 9:4 that they (the believers) were sealed in their foreheads. Does this imply that these Holy Ghost filled Jews are to receive some sort of tattoo or perhaps God has a microchip of His own that He will place under the skin for His own. I am sure those that support the idea that we are here by some extraterrestrial inception would find this a rather interesting consept. But this is not the case – neither is this the case of the mark of the beast. However, the Scripture does say that they received the mark in their foreheads or their right hand. But with the remnant Jews the mark is only found on the forehead – the seal of God as the Bible refers to it. If this remnant of Israel is given a seal by God or a mark, that is not visible nor man made, what makes us think that the mark of the beast is any different? The only visibility of the seal of God is the life displayed by this remnant Jews now professing Jesus Christ – likewise the life of those that reject Jesus Christ – the Word – are obviously identified by their life, the works they do and the unbelieving system they yoke themselves to that denies the principles of Christ.
When considering these two passages it is evident that the the head is mentioned – why? – decisions are made in our head. In the case of the mark of the beast just as it is in the case of the seal of God, one must make a decision as to whether to serve God or the devil. Thus the mark or seal of God is on the forehead but there is no mention of a mark in the hand, why is that? Once we have believed Jesus Christ we have ceased from our works -and the hand demonstrates works.
We have recently seen a major collapse in the worlds economy which will only be followed by another soon coming collapse, only this time of far more enormous magnitude. This world-wide financial catastrophe will find an unexpected savior. The Vatican – the only power on earth that has the financial ability to rescue a world economy from total ruination. With this bailout by the Vatican we will go to a global currency. Those who lost businesses and retirement plans life savings will find that the generosity of the Vatican to be like that of a modern day savior in a financial sense. The Vatican with a future charismatic pontiff will restore back the losses of the worlds failing economy. You , as an individual, will have to make a decision in your head. Do I sign the papers to accept this financial help? Or, do I reject it? when the Bible says ” …they received the mark in their forehead, or in their hand…” I find it interesting that the passage is worded as such. It tells us; there will be two types of people that take on the mark of the beast. Those that have the knowledge that they are doing wrong, but yet sign the documents anyway to be able to buy and sell – marked in their forehead. The second group is why God wrote in His Word “.. .the hand…” totally unconscious of what they are doing or without any regard to reasoning with their ‘hand” they accept a way to be able to buy and to sell. It is a carnal decision with no regards to impending danger. As the Scripture says in Revelations 13:17 :”…No one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast….” The name has nothing to do with the mark – the name of the beast is to belong to the organization. Consider this; Judas Iscariot was one of the original twelve disciples Jesus was very aware when He chose him that he was to play the part of the Devil, the Antichrist of his day, yet still Jesus chose Judas. So it’s nothing strange for the antichrist to come from religous ranks. and neither did It make the other 11 apostles evil because Judas was born the son of perdition. So then just because I see a future pontiff fulfilling the role of a future antichrist does not make catholic people evil. Every human being must make a decision weather to serve God or the Devil.
Back to the economic collapse I am quite confident this colapse is an agenda not by natural causes. Satan has full intentions on having his three and a half years just as Jesus had His while here on earth. Rememeber Satan is permited to rule on this earth for 42 months during the great tribulation. So it’s no wonder that the Pope signed an agreement last July in 2010 with the Arab league regarding religous ties and establishing a Palestinian state. The Vatican backs the Palestinians having having their own state for they have a lot to gain by brokering such a deal. Without question a future pontiff that brokers such a peace aggremeant will be wise enough to include the building of the third Temple along side the Dome of The Rock. Guesss who would win the Nobel Peace prize? There is pressure on the White House to soften the Israelies to make this deal, we have a failing economy and only the Vatican has the gold to bail us out. No peace aggreemeant no bail out package and when America is starving pressure will come on Israel when this country is on the verge of loosing everything. The one who loans the money i.e. the Vatican will rule the world – with a NATO to inforce Her will.
With something so simple I’m sure you can see how a world will take this mark hardly realizing what they are doing. You may also wonder why do I make such a bold assertion when others try to say it’s an Arab or perhaps Obama. When I wrote the book, Israel; Are They Still God’s People I bring to the readers attention that it is important to note that when Gabriel spoke to Daniel about the seventy weeks that still applied to Israel he was very precise with the time these weeks began. With 4 decrees in view we were able to know precisely which decree to start this 70 of weeks, Darius and Cyrus though Godly decrees were for the rebuilding of the Temple but Artaxerxes second decree was for the wall and streets just as Gabriel specified. When we get the right decree in view we can bring to an exact date for the triumphant arrival of our Lord Jesus on Palm Sunday fulfilling the first 69 weeks. Why do I mention this, it is to prove where the Antichrist will come from. If Gabriel can be so specific in giving us the date that Jesus would come then why do we overlook the fact that Gabriel informs Daniel that the prince that shall come is from the people that will destroy the Temple. We know Titus destroyed the Temple and he was from Rome Italy-not Iran not the United States. So why would we look anywhere else for the Antichrist than where Gabriel said he comes from. This does not mean Catholics are bad people, might I remind you Jesus Christ chose 12 apostles and one was a devil and Jesus knew it when He chose him. Judas was the Antichrist of his days. So don’t be surprised when the future Antichrist comes from our religious ranks-for he will.

Enticing words of mans wisdom is not what I’m offering. I watched the video and truly everyone seems convincing when the elaborate explanations are laid out. The day of worship is not a mark Paul addresses that. However let me also state I don’t have all the answer perhaps I’m off somewhat but I try to keep it simple and with the Word.

I love your “essay”. I have one question that always plays in my head and it’s this. If we are to follow Jesus then why would he make the word so hard to understand, it’s like it’s written in code that we aren’t supposed to “get”. Without total understanding how is one to make a logical and heartfelt decision regarding ones salvation.
I am filled with torment in my head because I am a highly analitical person and not a “feelings” person because I think feelings are just emotional things that some feel more than others.
I understand faith has alot to do with it but understanding and faith go hand in hand IMO. I know there has to be more that we just are not aware of yet and that it will come to light at the right time.
BTW I think alot of pre-trib people are going to fall away from God when they “felt” they were going to be with Jesus before poop hits the fan.
Again, great writting and it gave me perhaps another piece to my puzzle of what is meant for me to understand.

The Word of God is written in mystery form in one way as it pertains to specific points that the Lord does not want Satan to be able to get. But salvation is not part of this mystery. Believing on the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior is not a mystery nor does require some great understanding. So need to fear, if He wants you to know a mystery or if He is so kind to reveal to you a portion of His plan, just count that an extra blessing not a requirement. Hope this helps. The antichrist will not come from Arab world or from America. He is a religious leader who is veiled now and who will be manifested when the deal with Israel will be broken in the middle of the last (70th) week of Daniel. Concerning the mark of the beast, the belief and the action related to it, there is only one belief in the history of the church upon which people acted in a cruel way toward those who didn’t accept it: it is the belief in Trinity (triune god). The church of Rome is the inventor of this greed and in the dark ages, it was imposed as the only form of religion and belief. Anyone against this belief was burned or given to wild beast.
Today, the oecumenism movement, of so many different churches with different beliefs and understanding of the scriptures, has its foundation on the only belief they have in common: Trinity. The book of revelation speak about the mother and her daughters. Woman typifies the church in the scriptures. Throught the oecumenism, the daughters(all the protestant and denominations) are going back to there mother (Roman Catholic church). Whoever will stay out of this, will be persecuted.

The ecumunical movement is gaining momentum now I’m sure Pope John XXVI is happy with what he started in the 60′s had he saw it today. Much written on the web about sunday worship, but this I would like to hear more about. Can you reccomend other sites with more info. Here in Norway all the denominations believe in the trinity. What does the Hebrew bibel really say?

Personally I thought Gods seal was the Ash Wednesday. That that was the seal of God. After all in many churches it is done the same as baptism, Perhaps baptism is the seal of god also. Anyways Revlations also say that they shall right the name of the lamb on there forhead of the 144000. So obviously something is visble too. And it did not say atlest in my bible in the right hand, but ON the right hand. Which dose give more relivance to credit cards. Not only do we pick up this in are right hand, as most of us are right handed. But spiritually in our lifes it is at our right hand. If we cared about faith as much as we cared about money who knows what we could do….. And now with these cards having chips in them it dose make one wonder…..

I believe God give back again their land(Israel) in the year 1948 to his people because the promise of God will never change for the sake of faithfull jews who obey him(read Romans 3). Israel will be the center of controversy in this last days(read ezek 38)
